CORRECTION

The sentence, "Lung cancer became the leading cause of death in the United States in 1954, and continues to hold this position," in the article titled "Statistics On Cancer," Ca — A Cancer Journal for Clinicians, Vol. 17, No. 1, page 34, should read "Lung cancer became the leading cause of cancer death in the United States in 1954, and continues to hold this position." Also in the same paragraph, the phrase in parentheses "(42,000 men and 8,000 women)," should read "(44,000 men and 8,000 women)."
