Aggressive Approach to the Treatment of Wilms' Tumor

O. Swenson M.D. and R. Brenner M.D.

Bilateral Wilms' tumors are amenable to surgical resection with more likelihood of success than when treated by a cancericidal dose of radiation alone.

Pulmonary metastases which diminish in size but persist after radiation and dactinomycin may be resected with some hope of cure.
