Malignant Abdominal Tumors in Children

Abdominal masses in children are always serious, no matter how small, or how well the child seems. There are many specific techniques for the diagnosis of these masses. Because of new methods of treatment, it is now possible to cure more children with abdominal cancer, if the diagnosis is established early and accurately. A thorough knowledge of the characteristics, behavior and appropriate diagnostic techniques are essential for effective management of these tumors.
