Soft Tissue Sarcomas

An Outline Guide to Management

Any patient with a suspected soft tissue sarcoma should have a proper histologic diagnosis. Based on this diagnosis and the location of the tumor, a proper therapeutic approach is mapped out. Although radiation therapy plays some role in management, aggressive operative therapy still remains the primary therapy of choice for most patients with soft tissue sarcomas.
