Chronic Myelocytic Leukemia Developing as a Second Cancer in a Patient with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Chronic myelocytic leukemia developed as a second cancer in a patient with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Possible causes for the development of a myeloproliferative disorder in a patient with a pre-existing lymphoproliferative disorder are discussed.
