Role of Progesterone Receptors In Breast Cancer

PRs appear to be an important factor in the prognosis and management of breast cancer. The survival of patients whose tumors lose PRs is significantly shorter than that of those retaining PRs. Frequent reassessment of PRs is therefore recommended to ensure optimal treatment planning for patients who are initially PR positive.
