Pediatric brain tumors

Brain tumors are the second most common cancer of children. Although children with brain tumors have a better prognosis than adults, treatment presents special problems, including possible damage to the developing brain. This article reviews the classification, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric brain tumors.
