Cancer cytogenetics for clinicians

Chromosomal changes have been detected in virtually all human tumor types, and many of these chromosomal abnormalities have been established as valuable diagnostic and prognostic factors. This article provides an overview of the chromosomal changes associated with human cancer and their clinical consequences.
