Prostate Cancer Awareness Week: September 22 to 28, 1997

Prostate Cancer Awareness Week is a recognized national event, the primary purpose of which is public education and promotion of early detection of the disease. This article describes a 5-year longitudinal study begun in 1992 to capture demographic and clinical data from patients participating in Awareness Week.
