Pancreatic cancer: state-of-the-art care

K. D. Lillemoe, C. J. Yeo and J. L. Cameron
Department of Surgery, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Baltimore, MD, USA.

This review focuses on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, staging, and treatment of pancreatic cancer. Furthermore, our deepening understanding of the molecular genetics of pancreatic cancer lends hope for the possibility of earlier detection, which would result in substantial improvements in survival.
