In the May/June 2007 issue, in the article "Minimal Access Cancer Management" (CA Cancer J Clin 2007;57:130–146), an error appeared in the text on page 138. The sentence that read, "Laparoscopic resection of the colon was first described in 1992⁷²" was incorrect. In fact, the first report was in 1991 (Jacobs M, Verdeja J-C, Goldstein HS. Minimally Invasive Colon Resection [Laparoscopic Colectomy]. Surg Laparosc Endosc 1991;1:144–150). The authors regret the error and thank Dr. Juan-Carlos Verdeja for bringing it to their attention.
